Locate five (5) sources that you may use for your research paper.Give the bibliographic information for the source by a short summary of about 75 to 125 words that gives the main points of the source.
For this assignment you need to locate five (5) sources that you may use for your research paper. Review the research paper assignment in order to determine if your selected topic will work. The topic for the research paper is a current controversial issue and the research paper itself will present an argument on that issue. Look for sources that are current and provide the reader with accurate information.
Wikipedia and general encyclopedias are not acceptable. If you use these types of sources you will receive a zero on this assignment Also not more than two works may come from a collection of essays. Do not use the textbook as a source for the annotated bibliography.
For EACH SOURCE you need to give the bibliographic information for the source (this is the same information that you would include in a works cited entry for the source) followed immediately by a short summary of about 75 to 125 words that gives the main points of the source. You then will have a brief paragraph of three to five sentences that evaluates the source. Is it current? Reliable? Well researched?
You will then have two to three sentences that explain how you will use the source or how it relates to your working thesis. This means that each entry will consist of three parts (bibliographic information followed by a summary of the sources an evaluation of the source and an explanation of how you plan to use the source).
